When God confirmed for the um-teenth time that I was meant to be an entrepreneur, I was flooded with anticipation. I had a countdown on my phone with the number of days I had left at the hospital and I couldn't wait to leave. I longed to be a full-time entrepreneur instead of building my business on the side. Building Humble and Whole on the side often meant it was pushed to the back burner to make time for the sleep I was sorely lacking.

Your analytics can not be ignored. In order to run a profitable, sustainable business, you have to understand where your audience is coming from and how to find them. But you can’t get sucked into the numbers game. It’s a tricky balance for sure, but it is one of the challenges we must face and conquer as business owners.

I felt my heart race in fear when I realized God was calling me into this arena. Not only was He calling me to take the leap into this industry, He was commanding me to do it boldly. I realized later that He was calling me to be bold for reasons much bigger than myself.
